What should I NOT put in my Career Portfolio?

Updated 12 months ago

  1. No Confidential or Sensitive Information: Avoid adding items that contain private details like account numbers, medical records, financial information, or any personal data that is confidential.

  2. No Student Photos or Names (for Educators): Instructors and administrators should not upload photos, videos, or any identifying details of students unless they have a signed consent form or permission from a legal guardian.

  3. Protect Confidential Work: If you want to highlight work but need to keep certain details private, consider writing a brief summary of your role in the project. You can also add a screenshot or image that doesn’t disclose confidential information.
