CareerPrepped offers Skill Builders for both structured and independent learning:

  • Assigned Use: If you’re part of a program or school using CareerPrepped, you may need to follow specific Skill Builders in a set order. Please follow any instructions from your program.

  • Independent Use: If you’re using CareerPrepped on your own, you can start with any Skill Builder, work on multiple Skill Builders at once, and go at your own pace. These resources help you build and strengthen skills valued by employers, making CareerPrepped a lifelong career support tool.

Steps to Join Skill Builders:

  1. Sign in to CareerPrepped.
  2. Select Skill Builders from the main menu.
  3. Click on any skill category drop down menu to reveal the Skill Builders available.
  4. Choose the Skill Builder that interests you (or the one assigned to you).
  5. Click Reflect & Practice to begin. Each Skill Builder has three parts:
    • Reflect & Practice
    • Engage & Connect
    • Claiming a Skill Badge
